GRADUATE! That's right, at the end of all of this you get to walk the stage and shake the university presidents hand. On the other side of the stage you will have a diploma and never have to deal with classes again!...(I mean unless you go to graduate school)

Entry Nine: Enjoythe Time You Have Left
Enjoy your time left in school. Do not spend your time wishing away your senior year. When it's gone, you will want it back. Life is rough in the real world. Someday you are going to be longing for your days at university to come back, and all the fun times you had. So, when you look back on senior year you want to remember it as a good time and not as a time that would make you cringe to think about how much work you had, and how awful the assignments were, because you waited to do them. Kick back have fun and live a little.
Entry Eight: Make Time for Polar Pops
Make time for Polar Pops. Or if you are not on my campus, what I really mean is find time for for fun. If you stay buried in books all semester you will go crazy. Take some time to go outside and see whats happening in the world, get some fresh air and live a little. Your senior year should be fun, go out and have a blast, but be sure to remember you are also paying to go to school, so you should do that too. :)
Entry Seven: Allow for Errors
Allow for errors. People are not perfect. No matter how much we want to believe that we are perfect and that the people in the offices are superheros... they aren't. Everybody makes mistakes, and if you do everything early and stay on top of things, then it will be easier to correct those human errors.
Entry Six: Stay on top of Things
Stay on top of your work. Don't let yourself get too overwhelmed with assignments. Do your assignments as you get them. If you do your assignments as they're received, then you do not have to play catch up later. Life is a lot easier if you allow yourself to stay on your game.
From one student to another, if you stay on top of your assignments your semester will be a lot easier, and you will not have to play catch up at the end of the semester later when its nice out and all you want to do is be outside.

Entry Five: Have a good group of Friends
A good group of friends can get you through anything. They could make a good study group, or they're available when you need to vent if you're stressed out. They can tell when you need a break or when you need a minute to yourself. These people are going to be your key to survival. They can help get you through anything, and they will be there at your commencement. A good group of friends will get you to your graduation cheering you on.
Entry Four: Study
Entry Three: Go to Class!
Life is a lot easier if you go to class. I don't care if there is no attendance policy, you're a senior now. You are most likely in all upper level courses, that means upper level course work. Whether the teacher cares if you're there or not you should go. The material is a lot easier to understand if you're there and paying attention. Sure another hour of sleep would be awesome, but you are not paying thousands of dollars to sleep. Missing one class is like flushing $200 down the toilet.
Sure it's easy to skip class, but the more classes you go to, the more likely you are to pass. Do you really want to fail out of college in your last semester? I don't think you do. So, go to class and take notes. Pay attention and you're one step closer to that diploma. From one student to another, it makes your world a whole lot easier.
Entry Two: The Paper Work
Don't be afraid of the paperwork in the photograph, it's a bit of an exaggeration. However, that's what it will feel like if you wait until the last minute to fill it out, get it out of the way early to avoid that sensation. Most schools require students to fill out an application to graduate. This application is their way of keeping track of the students that are walking, and helping you make sure that you have all of your ducks in a row, so to speak. Filling this paper work out early gives you room to make mistakes. The registrar will help by letting you know how many credit hours that you have to complete, if any.
If you do how credit hours left to complete over the summer then that is more paper work you have to get done early to graduate. You may have to write an appeal to walk at your graduation, or fill out transfer credit papers to take your last few credit hours away from the institution that you are graduating from. Life gets rough if you wait until the last minute to do the paper work. So, please take my advice and get it done ASAP. From one student to another, it will make your final semester a whole lot easier.

Entry One: An Introduction
College is hard, but as you move on through your years on
campus life gets a little easier. Starting with the culture shock of freshman
year and realizing that college and high school are worlds apart. Discovering
the party scene and that most classes are not what you expected. Sophomore year’s
finding a balance between having a social life and an academic career. This
balance is precious, and if you do it right you can join clubs and other
organizations. Junior year and trying to get your life together for that
struggle bus that is senior year. The first semester of senior year is okay, but
then second semester comes around and life gets crazy. Once second semester
hits, senioritis becomes a problem. I’m here to help with that.
After the second semester starts life gets a little crazy.
There’s paper work, and homework, and the realization that the real world
starts now! This blog is to help you survive that. I hope it helps!
